John W. Paxton, Sr. is Chairman of Pro Mach, a leading provider of integrated packaging products and solutions. Mr. Paxton joined Pro Mach in December 2004 and has more than 30 years senior management experience in packaging, wireless voice and data, aerospace, logistics, and manufacturing.

As a Chairman, Mr. Paxton has earned a reputation for delivering results and helping organizations and their people reach their full potential. Similarly, he and the Pro Mach Management Team focus on building and delivering reliable products and solutions that help customers attain high value from their packaging line investment. As an experienced leader in standardization, Mr. Paxton will guide Pro Mach's efforts to become the top provider of single source integrated packaging solutions and a leader in standardization of packaging systems.

During his career, Mr. Paxton, has successfully grown and turned around nine companies and divisions. As President of Zebra Technologies Bar Code Unit in 2003, Mr, Paxton reversed a downward revenue trend to create record earnings in 2003 and more than $82 million in free cash. As CEO of Telxon Corporation in 1999, he restored the company to financial strength and brought shareholders a 300% increase in value which culminated in its acquisition by Symbol Technologies. He also led the spin-off and IPO of Telxon's wholly-owned subsidiary, Aironet Wireless Communications, Inc., which was eventually purchased by Cisco. As President and Chief Operating Officer, and eventually Chairman, President, and CEO of Intermec, Mr. Paxton led the company's growth in revenue from $45 million to approximately $300 million. Forbes magazine listed Intermec in its 1988 rankings of "The 200 Best Managed Companies in America. Business Week also listed Intermec as one of "The 30 Fastest Growing Companies in America." Mr. Paxton also provided leadership as CEO of Monarch Marking Systems, Executive Vice President and President of Paxar Corporation and as an executive for Litton Industries, Martin Marietta, and RCA.

Mr. Paxton led the drive to standardize bar code applications and has authored many papers on bar codes, identification systems and the MRP II management philosophy. He has served on the Board of the National Association of Manufacturers and was Chairman of Automatic Identification Manufacturers (AIM). Currently, he is Chairman of Mobilisa, a provider of wireless internet solutions to the Department of Defense and serves on the Board of IIMAK, a manufacturer of thermal transfer ribbons. He has served on the Boards of many public and private corporations and non-profits. Mr. Paxton attended the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland for eleven years and has shared his experience as adjunct professor at the Graduate School of Business and Economics at Seattle Pacific University and as a guest lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the University of Washington Graduate School of Business. Mr. Paxton earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Business Administration from LaSalle University in Philadelphia and is also a registered Professional Engineer.
